OUR PHILOSOPHY

by admin

We believe that there is NOBODY better suited to care for your body better than you!

Whole Food Emphasis:

We generally advocate for a whole food approach to eating. We emphasize the consumption of minimally processed nutrient-dense foods such as fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and whole grains. We encourage focusing on quality ingredients, meat, such as grass-fed meat, wild-caught seafood, pasture-raised chicken and eggs.  We also encourage clients to focus on mindful eating, and the enjoyment of nourishing meals.

Balanced and Sustainable Approach:

Rather than promoting restrictive diets or quick fixes, we prioritize long-term sustainable changes to our clients’ eating habits and lifestyles. We aim to help clients develop a healthy relationship with food and create balanced eating patterns that can be maintained over time. We discourage extreme or overly restrictive diets and instead focus on cultivating positive, lifelong habits.

Behavior Change and Accountability:

Recognizing that changing habits can be challenging. We emphasize behavior change techniques and provide support and accountability to our clients. We help clients set realistic goals, identify barriers to success, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles. We may also assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking skills to facilitate the implementation of healthier choices.

Bio-Individuality:

We recognize that each person has unique needs, preferences and goals. We understand that there is no one-size-fit all approach to nutrition and that what works for one person may not work for another. So, we emphasize on the importance of individualized recommendations based on factors such as genetics, metabolic health, medical history, and lifestyle.

Mind-Body Connection:

We recognize the connection between nutrition and overall well-being. We consider not only the physical aspects of nutrition but also the impact on mental, emotional, and spiritual health. We may encourage practices such as mindfulness, stress management, and self-care as part of a holistic approach to wellness.

Continuous Learning and Collaboration:

We value ongoing professional development and staying informed about the latest research and trends in nutrition. We may collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, registered dietitians, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care for our clients. We understand the importance of working as a team to address clients’ individual needs effectively.
